Zaakir Tameez is a legal scholar of antitrust and constitutional law, a graduate of Yale Law School and the University of Virginia, and a Fulbright Scholar from Houston, Texas. His first book, a biography of the abolitionist senator Charles Sumner, began as a paper at Yale Law School after he noticed how often Thurgood Marshall and the NAACP cited Sumner in the briefs for Brown v. Board of Education.
