Samuel Fleischacker

Samuel Fleischacker is LAS Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the University of Illinois Chicago, working in moral and political philosophy, the history of ethics, and the philosophy of religion. He is among the leading philosophical interpreters of Adam Smith, and his books range across Smith and Kant, the history of distributive justice, Enlightenment thought, and the defense of revealed religion.
