Odysseus Makridis is a professor of philosophy at Fairleigh Dickinson University, working in logic and its philosophy, ethics, and the history of philosophy. Educated at Middlebury College and Brandeis University, he is the author of the textbook Symbolic Logic and has translated and introduced classical texts, including the letters of Epicurus and Xenophon's Socratic writings.
