Katja Hoyer is a German-British historian and journalist, a Visiting Research Fellow at King's College London and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Born in East Germany in 1985, she writes and broadcasts widely on modern German history for the BBC, The Washington Post, and the Berliner Zeitung. She is the author of the international bestsellers Blood and Iron and Beyond the Wall.
