Claire Rydell Arcenas

Claire Rydell Arcenas is an associate professor of history at the University of Montana, where she studies American intellectual life and transatlantic exchange from the late seventeenth century to the present. She holds a PhD from Stanford University, and her first book, America's Philosopher: John Locke in American Intellectual Life, won the István Hont Book Prize for the best book in intellectual history.
