Alicia Ely Yamin

Alicia Ely Yamin is a socio-legal scholar and human rights activist who has spent decades applying human rights frameworks to global health, from maternal mortality to the political economy of inequality. Trained in law and public health at Harvard and holding a doctorate in law from the University of Buenos Aires, she has lived and worked across Latin America and East Africa alongside local advocates. She now leads the Global Health and Rights Project at Harvard Law School's Petrie-Flom Center.
