A. Mechele Dickerson is the Arthur L. Moller Chair in Bankruptcy Law and Practice and a Distinguished Teaching Professor at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. A nationally recognized scholar of financial vulnerability, consumer debt, and housing affordability, she writes on how law and policy shape the economic lives of ordinary Americans. She is an elected member of the American Law Institute and the American College of Bankruptcy.
